Neer Slate

Neer Slate belongs to Quiet Geometry. Grids, fine lines and tonal blocks for rooms built on proportion — calm, precise and deliberately restrained. The design pairs stacked, stepped lozenges with hooked edges, drawn from the vocabulary of village weaving with a palette of grey and blue.

Flatweave. Pileless textiles in which the weft forms the surface; reversible in many cases and light underfoot.

Flat-woven, weft-faced; reversible.

Woven by hand on a loom. The weft may show gentle irregularities in tension and tone — a natural result of hand weaving, not a flaw.

Handmade variation — a shift in tone, a slightly irregular edge — is the character of the process, not a defect.

Vacuum without a beater bar; blot spills immediately. Shake out or vacuum on both sides; many flatweaves are reversible and can be turned to even out wear. Use a rug pad to keep the piece flat and in place.
